How to write a CV that gets noticed

A strong CV makes it easy for an employer to see your potential. Keep it to one page, lead with your education and projects, and tailor the skills section to the role you are applying for.

Start with evidence

Replace general claims with a short example: a project you completed, a result you improved or a responsibility you owned. Numbers and outcomes are more persuasive than adjectives.

Make it easy to scan

Use clear headings, consistent dates and short bullet points. Most employers spend less than a minute on a first read, so put your strongest information near the top.
